Vaika Maryland Release, led by Senthil Subramanian, grandson of legendary Malayalam producer P. Subramanian, has acquired the Kerala distribution rights of Surya’s film #Retro, directed by Karthik Subbaraj.

The Kerala distribution rights of Suriya’s film Retro, directed by Karthik Subbaraj, have been acquired by Vaika Maryland Release, headed by Senthil Subbaraj, grandson of Malayalam’s immortal producer P. Subbaraj. Maryland Studios, which has given around eighty-two films to Malayalam, has acquired the Kerala distribution rights of Retro for a huge amount.
Pooja Hegde is playing the female lead in Retro, and many other stars like Joju George and Jayaram, who are beloved by Malayalam audiences, Nassar, Prakash Raj, Karunakaran, Vidya Shankar, Tamil and many others are playing lead roles. Retro will hit theaters worldwide on May 1.
