The Nehru Trophy Boat Race is a vibrant and exciting annual event held in Kerala, India, typically in August. It takes place on the Punnamada Lake in Alappuzha (also known as Alleppey) and is named after Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India, who visited the event in 1952.
